It has not been a good month for Jack Straw.
He has firmly established himself as one of the
most reactionary Home Secretaries in living
memory. His plans to limit trial by jury, his willingness to allow Pinochet to escape trial and
return to Chile, his deportation of nazi war criminal Konrad Kaljes enabling him to escape justice
and then the Mike Tyson debacle -- what kind of
record is this for a Labour Home Secretary?
